AWS Cloud Clubs are local campus-based community groups that help students learn about the cloud and get hands-on experience with AWS services. Clubs are led by Cloud Club Captains, technical student community leaders that work to grow and foster local AWS communities.
AWS launched the AWS Cloud Clubs program in 2023 as a way to increase access to cloud skills for students. Since then, clubs have launched in universities around 35 regions. The award- winning program has been hugely successful so far, with over 46,000+ students participating to date.
